Ahh, third year. Somehow, I dislike and like this year the most at the same time. But whatever the case, this year had the most roller coaster moments, so many ups, downs, twists, turns, loop-de-loops and whatnot happened this year. But sadly, I didn't get to spend it with a section I felt home in. (I'm sorry to any K who's reading this.)
The stratification in this section was quite high in the beginning. And sometimes, I find myself to constantly not belong in any of it. Yes, sometimes I hang out with a group every now and then, but it is just sometimes. I never truly found my home in the section. I do have some friends within the section, but even they have other closer friends that they'd rather hang out with. Somehow, I really think I don't belong in this section. But sometimes, I think what would Potassium be without me?
Oh yeah, right. Still Potassium. Still the same section I was in. Still the same from last year. Nothing would change, after all, what am I to Potassium anyway? I'm probably just one of those fillers for the section, just to make the count complete and correct. After all, what's a miniscule part to do with the bigger picture? Nothing.

Day 2 - Second Year Section
Huh, what do you know? I'm still here.
They say the Second year in Pisay is the hardest, being the year with the most units and consequently, more requirements. But in all entirety, it's not. You don't have to do research and write a valid scientific paper about it, you don't have CAT which takes up your Friday afternoons plus some other times for required community service, you don't have to worry about actually reading up ahead to get credit for 25% of your final grade, and most importantly, you don't have to balance all of these and more constantly throughout a year.
Most of my classmates from second year would say that they'd rather be in another section, almost everyone disliked the section. But for me it's a different story, second year cemented almost everything I've been building up since first year. It made for a huge turning point for me, although it may not seem so, though I won't be writing much about that, so yeah.
One of the things I loved the most about Sampa is our Mayroong 5, the group that I was in that originated from the deep taverns of the Math unit. Originally consisting of 6 members (cause, well, personal relationships of a group's member makes for transitive membership, right?), namely me, Marlo, Leif, Alkie, Ryan + Angelei, it was one of the most whacked up group then. But it was this sense of randomness that kept me there. Sadly, the group has disbanded by the end of the year, and Ryan and Alkie went off their separate ways. (Details of the story are not to be mentioned here)
Despite the lack of chemistry within the class and the heavy stratification of the people in it, it still doesn't make the cut for my worse section. I have enough space in my heart left for this section to last me for a while.
Til we meet again (you know, on March 24) ;)

Day 1 - First Year Section
RUBY!!!!!
Where the hell do I start? :))
From all the four sections I've had, Ruby is still by far the best (Muon is a close second though xD). What makes me love it is not just the people, not just the chemistry of the people, but the section in itself. So many memories attached, so many obstacles hurdled together as a section, and who can complain if your newsletters always go "Ruby 2012 and Others 2012"?
Instead of paragraphing everything I like about this section, I'd just do a list :D
//So yeah, that's it I guess. And yeah, I really do suck in writing :))

- At least 5 laptops open for an Armagetron/SMW/whatever game session at the front lob every morning at around 6 am, to be repeated during lunch times
- Tersa's house. Bar, Poker table, Mahjong, huge television space, game room, food.'Nuff said.
- Sir Mardan. Come on, what other teacher is going to force their students to dance a famous song whose lyrics were changed into a Math related one? "So here's a complex fraction, a freakshow. The right LCD is the solution baby.."
- Enchanted Kingdom, the other outing place.
- Ka-kornihan ni Dario Ceblano
- People who know how to play Mahjong, Pusoy Dos, Tong-its, etc. And the rest wants to learn.
- A somehow organized Poker game using pogs
- Jelor Gallego
- Micholo Medrana at Tersa's house
- Ma'am Buenafe
- "Kita mo 'tong _____ na 'to? Dati human yan eh, tinira ko" - Justin Bantos
- In-depth Pokemon analysis (sorry na, adik ako :P)
- et. al.
//So yeah, that's it I guess. And yeah, I really do suck in writing :))

What is the Pisay Graduation Challenge?
It’s simply a countdown quiz for the graduating seniors of Philippine Science High School. It was created by Jelor Gallego of PSHS-Main Campus. Originally, it runs for 16 days and ends exactly on graduation. However, I’ll be adding some categories to it so that it reaches until PSHS-Main’s graduation ball.
What is talked about?
Each day, there’ll be a specific topic that’ll be talked about, which will slowly lead to the day of graduation & graduation ball. Here is the edited version below (along with the preferred start dates).
(03.15) 1-1st year section
(03.16) 2-2nd year section
(03.17) 3-3rd year section
(03.18) 4-4th year section

For What Its Worth
It's not like people will be reading this anyway, so here goes nothing.
Three strikes and you're out. A simple rule implemented in baseball; if you can't hit the ball in three tries, then you're out. But it could also be a metaphor in real life; three strikes might be all it takes for something drastic to change.
And watch out, you're already at strike two for me. And nowhere are you near good.
Sometime last year, there had been an arranged examination to those who are interested in joining our school's Economics team. I took it, so did some of my friends. But you weren't there, like it made a difference. I don't know why I took it in the first place; there's just something that draws me to the subject. I was by then slightly confident that I know some stuff, but after the test, that had been reduced to a pulp.
The next day, I saw you studying Econ for some reason with one of my best friends, who also happened to take the exam. You said it was for homework and knowing your teacher who gives you definition homeworks, I thought nothing else of it. So I went over and helped you with some of it, just cause.
The week after, the people who got in were notified, and I was disappointed that I wasn't part of it. But it maybe for a reason that I didn't get in so the grudge wasn't that big. Then I find out that you got in. Apparently you took the test a day late, after we thought you your 'homework'. I got really pissed because of it, because I know (and a LOT of people can attest to it) that there are plenty of other people who took it deserves it much more than you do, the people who taught you, that other guy who told you that it was a glossary test that got you reading terms and definitions, that guy who sat next to me and took the test for the laughs, and the list goes on and on. And for that, I salute with my middle finger. Strike one, asshole.
Weeks pass and I haven't heard much from you, which was great. Except during our Computer Science classes when you ask "Sir, what does this snippet do?" (Run it, retard), "Sir, what does this loop do again?" (How in the world did you survive three quarters without knowing?), "Sir, how do you use a loop?" (Why are you here again?). It was annoying to no end. Even the lesser students can code much better than you. Even those who took up Web Development instead can code better than you. Ever since last year in Robotics, you were of almost no help, everyone disliked working with you. And that's the gospel truth.
Just the other day, I received news of the candidates for the Best in ComSci Award. And it disappointed me to no end that I wasn't one of them. It was the only subject which I actually had a chance in. It was the only subject where I excelled in greatly. It was my passion. It was what I loved to do. Call me a nerd or whatever, I don't care. I actually code and program during my free time and during when I'm stressed. I'd easily give up another subject to be able to work on my codes and stuff.
It wouldn't be that bad if you weren't there. But you fucking were. And it just made me loathe you more. You who actually knows almost nothing in the subject; You, who took credit for other people's work; You, who annoys everyone to no end, you took the only thing I was looking forward to in the grandest stage at the end. You took my only actual chance of winning an award for the subject I loved the most.
Everyone knows other people deserve your spot in the candidacy. Everyone knows that you shouldn't be there.
Strike two.
Don't you dare get a third one on me. Even now I already want to make your life a living hell. Stay out of my way, forever, and you'll be fine. Or not.
Go fuck yourself.

Time to prove some math
Let ab (10a + b) be the two digits of your age
and cd (10c + d) be the last 2 digits of your cellphone number.
Steps:
1) Multiply your cellphone's last two digits by 2.
2 x (10c + d) -----> 20c + 2d
2) Add 5.
20c + 2d + 5
3) Multiply by 50.
50 x (20c + 2d + 5) -----> 1000c + 100d + 250
[A/N: If you noticed, the first two terms, 1000c + 100d has become the first two digits of the output.]
4) Add your age.
1000c + 100d + 250 + (10a + b) -----> 1000c + 100d + 10a + b + 250
[A/N: Again, the first four terms adds up to become a 4-digit number, the first two (cd) is the last two digits of your cellphone number and the last two (ab) is your age.]
5) Add 365.
1000c + 100d + 10a + b + 250 + 365 -----> 1000c + 100d + 10a + b + 615
6) Subtract 615.
1000c + 100d + 10a + b + 615 - 615 -----> 1000c + 100d + 10a + b
7) The last two numbers are your age and the first two digits are your cellphone's last numbers!
1000c + 100d + 10a + b ----> cdab [(cd - cellphone's last two digits) (ab - age)]
And there you go, simple math trick where you basically just spin around the numbers and play with them for a bit, but a powerful effect when done correctly as well.
A/N: I'm sorry, I'm just so effin' bored, then I saw this and actually tried it out with the solution I made, and it works :))

It has been a while
A certain friend of mine has made this theory that I only post blogs whenever I'm depressed or whatnot, leading to people believe that I only post really depressing stuff, when in fact, those are the only times I feel motivated to write. Time to prove her wrong.
So I haven't updated in a while, big deal. Like anyone's reading this anyway, or so I suppose no one is, but that's just my assumption. So far, things has been great. My grades are on the borderline of decent and high, I'm spending less time being broke, having more fun time with my friends and most of all, I currently am in a pretty awesome, uhm, its not yet an official relationship, but yeah xD, with this pretty awesome girl, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my school year.
The first quarter is now drawing to a close, and as the doors close, it wouldn't let us pass without paying our due tolls. And of course what other way to pay than by taking the periodical examinations. And oh, might I add a few long tests, the UP College Admission Test, and a few extra competitions from my Robotics class.
A/N: And here I am again, assuming that most of you people who read this are from my school, Teehee.
For now, I just felt like posting something new so that my blog won't be as desolated as it was before, but I'll try and post more frequently as time passes so that it wont look like a barren wasteland I call a blog.
